Rack for 2 mL Flat-Bottom Screw-Cap Tubes, SBS Footprint

Organize up to 35 flat-bottom, self-standing 2 mL screw-cap microcentrifuge tubes in a 7 × 5 arrangement with this SBS-format rack.

Integrated springs at each tube opening grip the tube to help prevent wiggling and maintain a consistent position during robotic pipetting. Recessed bottom seats support the tube bases, while tapered guides help direct tubes into place.

Separate SBS locating springs are designed to hold the rack firmly in an SBS-format deck slot, helping prevent rack movement and maintain repeatable positioning.

The nominal footprint measures 127.76 × 85.48 mm, with an overall rack height of 29 mm. Tube spacing is 15.472 mm along the seven-tube axis and 16 mm along the five-tube axis, measured center to center.

Designed for flat-bottom tubes with a nominal body diameter of 9.8–10.6 mm: the integrated springs reach inward to a 9.8 mm relaxed opening, and the rigid tube holes are 10.6 mm in diameter.
