Dewar for the 1.5 mL tubes

This small dewar jar fits one 1.5 "Eppendorf" tube. You can use it for grinding a tissue directly in the Eppendorf tube while keeping it in liquid nitrogen. The tube gets fully submerged in the liquid nitrogen. The dewar fits about 0.1 liters of liquid. The nitrogen lasts long enough for processing 6-8 samples without refilling. 

The outer surface of the dewar stays warm enough to touch with bare hands. The groves in the cover allow evaporated nitrogen to escape without creating a pressure buildup inside the dewar.
