Cold block made for 5 mL tubes. They will also fit 15 mL tubes, but only 4-5 mL will be inside the rack.

Pre-chill the cold block in a fridge and use it instead of an ice bucket for experiments that require low temperature. 

For longer experiments, place on ice to keep your tubes uniformly cooled down.
