This 42-position tube rack is designed to hold standard 2 mL screw- and snap-cap microtubes securely on any lab-automation deck. The SBS/ANSI footprint (127.76 × 85.48 mm) makes it a drop-in fit for liquid handlers, thermal shakers, plate carriers, and any equipment that accepts SBS-format labware.

Mini-springs inside every well grip each tube firmly and prevent rotation or lift-off during robotic pick-and-place, vortexing, or vigorous pipetting — so your automation runs reproducibly, time after time.

Each tube position pairs with a dedicated rectangular cap cutout. When you flip a hinged cap open, it drops flat into the cutout instead of standing up next to the tube — keeping it out of the way of robotic grippers and pipettor heads, and eliminating accidental re-closure during long protocols.
